This past week in Minneapolis, high school sports brought thrilling action across several events, with standout performances and close matchups that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
Adapted Soccer
In the CI Division of adapted soccer, the Stillwater/Mahtomedi team dominated St. Paul Johnson with a decisive score of 14-3. The impressive victory showcased their skills and teamwork, paving the way for a strong season ahead.
Cross-Country
At Gale Woods Farm, the Boys Class 3A Section 2 cross-country race saw Minnetonka finishing first with a total score of 28 points. Notable individual performances included Sean Fries, who completed the race in 15:43.3, and teammate Will Chose finishing in 16:17.8. Eden Prairie trailed with a score of 70, but still featured strong runners like Elijah Donaldson, who finished in 16:26.0.
