Monroe, WA – The Monroe High School basketball team took home a solid victory against Meadowdale High School on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, with a final score of 58-48. The game highlighted Monroe’s strong performance, particularly in the first half, where they built a significant lead.
The scoring for Monroe came quickly, with a strong first quarter tallying 21 points compared to Meadowdale’s 6. The second quarter saw both teams step up their game, but Monroe still managed to extend their lead, going into halftime ahead 36-17.
Meadowdale made a valiant effort in the second half, outscoring Monroe in the fourth quarter 20-11, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.
