High School Football Rankings Update: Belleville Leads the Charge in Michigan

Belleville is making headlines in high school football this week as they lead the pack in the latest Michigan high school football rankings. With an impressive record of 3-0, Belleville secured the top spot in their division, amassing 49 points in the poll and earning four first-place votes from the voters.

As the season moves into Week 4, the competition is heating up. Following Belleville, the second-place team is Rockford, also boasting a strong 3-0 record with 42 points and one first-place vote. Macomb Dakota, Detroit Catholic Central, and Lake Orion round out the top five teams in the rankings, all with perfect records as well.

Notably, teams like Detroit Cass Tech and Utica Eisenhower are close behind, both with solid performances this season. Clarkston, an up-and-coming team, currently holds the ninth spot with a record of 2-1 and is working hard to climb higher in the ranks.

The rankings for other divisions also show strong contenders. In the 8-player football division, teams like Warren De La Salle and Byron Center are performing exceptionally well, each maintaining an unbeaten record. Meanwhile, competitions among teams like Grand Rapids South Christian and Frankenmuth in the 11-player division are tight, with each achieving three wins this season.
