A free festival that celebrates German heritage. The festival includes German food, Biergartens, arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, community organizations, classic cars, and children’s activities. The festival is held annually on the first Saturday in October and has attracted over 20,000 people.
 A holiday event with music, a message from the mayor, a tree lighting, faux snow, and crafts. The Newberry Downtown Development Association also hosts a Cookie Walk from 4-8pm on Main Street before and after the tree lighting.
A street festival that celebrates freedom with Black owned businesses, cuisine, arts, entertainment, and history.
A Southern Barbecue Network sanctioned event with barbecue from across the southeast, live music, and kids inflatables and activities.
One of the oldest jazz festivals in the nation, held at Newberry College.
