Central Georgia High School Football Playoffs Heat Up

Macon, Ga. — Many fall sports in Central Georgia are heating up as teams enter the postseason. As both the flag football and softball seasons near their conclusion, several schools are stepping up their game in pursuit of playoff glory. Here are some of the standout performances from this week’s matches.

In flag football, Toombs County scored a decisive win against ACE with a final score of 14-0. Screven County also managed a narrow victory with a 1-0 win over Georgia Military College. From there, Bremen showed strong skill, defeating East Laurens at 7-3 and Lassiter overwhelmed Houston County with a commanding score of 11-0.

In more action, West Laurens took down LaGrange by a score of 5-2, showcasing their offensive strength. Pike County12-0 over Northeast, while Westside marked a solid win against Veterans, ending the match at 12-6. Lastly, Mary Persons demonstrated their talent with a convincing 13-0 win over Southwest.

As the postseason continues, Central Georgia fans can look forward to more exciting games as schools aim for the championship. Stay tuned as teams fight for their spots in the playoffs!
