Chapin Prepares for Wreaths Across America Day this December 14

On December 14, a wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Chapin Christian Community Church as part of the annual National Wreaths Across America Day. This heartfelt initiative stretches across more than 4,225 locations nationwide, united in a mission to remember, honor, teach, and ensure that the sacrifices of our veterans are never forgotten.

Starting at noon, the ceremony will kick off at the Chapin Christian Community Church, located at 415 Lexington Ave.. After a brief song and words of remembrance, local volunteers, along with the Chapin American Legion Post 193, will lay wreaths on the headstones of 52 veterans.
