Columbia, South Carolina – The excitement of high school football continued this past week as teams across South Carolina faced off in the penultimate week of the regular season for public schools and the final week for private schools. Week 11 brought thrilling matchups and notable performances, showcasing the best of high school football in the region.

Key Scores and Highlights

In standout performances, the Augusta Christian team defeated Ben Lippen with a score of 20 to 6, while Batesburg-Leesville claimed a decisive victory against Saluda, finishing 28 to 7. Brookland-Cayce showcased their potential with an impressive win over Airport at 49 to 14.

Camden continued their strong season with a solid 44 to 21 victory against AC Flora and Central made quick work of North Central, winning 38 to 7. The powerhouse team Dutch Fork demonstrated their dominance with a commanding 41 to 14 win over River Bluff.

Defensive Dominance

Defensive teams made their mark as well, with Fairfield Central shutting out Columbia completely, ending the game at 48 to 0. Similarly, Gray Collegiate overwhelmed Gilbert, finishing with a score of 42 to 0. Hammond also took control against Cardinal Newman, finishing the game at 52 to 21.

Another highlight of the week was Irmo, scoring big against Chapin with a final score of 55 to 21, which solidified their standing as a competitive force. Lee Central recorded a strong win over CA Johnson with a score of 48 to 8, showcasing their offensive strength.

Turning to other crucial scores, Newberry dominated Swansea with a comprehensive 45 to 0 scoreline, while Mid-Carolina breezed past Eau Claire with a clean 37 to 0 finish.

Noteworthy results included Northside Christian securing a comfortable 48 to 14 victory over Camden Military and a key match where Northwood edged out Heathwood Hall with a score of 34 to 13. Competitive matches were noted between Pelion and American Leadership, ending 28 to 6.
