De Pere High School Basketball: Papermakers Triumph Over Redbirds 62-49

DE PERE – The Kimberly Papermakers showcased their offensive strength in a decisive victory over the De Pere Redbirds, winning 62 to 49 in a high school basketball clash. Four players from Kimberly made significant contributions, highlighting their depth on the court. Leading the charge was Raegan Krueger, who scored 18 points, followed closely by Emily Urban with 14 points. Both Haylie Dulas and Ava Van Vonderen also shone brightly, each netting 11 points.

On the other side of the court, Egan Bierowski and Aubree Fischer each contributed 11 points for the Redbirds. The game trajectory saw Kimberly pull ahead with strong performances, outscoring De Pere significantly in the second half, with a score of 32 to 26.

In other games around the area, the West De Pere Phantoms rallied to overturn a first-half deficit against the Appleton North Lightning. Madisyn Berggren led the Phantoms with 17 points as they outscored their opponents 37 to 19 in the second half, ending with a score of 63 to 46.

Meanwhile, in a closely contested matchup, the Waupaca Comets were victorious against the Denmark Vikings with a final score of 51 to 46, thanks to contributions from Haley Bechard, who led her team with 17 points.

In Green Bay, the Xavier Hawks dominated the Green Bay West, achieving a commanding victory of 88 to 61. Logan Ramczyk was sensational, scoring 27 points while helping his team build a substantial lead by halftime.

As the season unfolds, these performances set a competitive tone, with players showcasing their skills and promising exciting matchups to come.
