Education

Newberry, South Carolina has many places for education, including public schools, colleges, and learning centers. The Newberry County School District serves over 6,000 students in 12 schools and employs over 480 teachers. Newberry College, a Lutheran college, has 840 students, 20 majors, 25 areas of concentration, and 29 minors. The college also offers more than 40 student organizations and 15 NCAA competitive teams for men and women.
