Exciting High School Soccer Performances Recognized in Bozeman

In Bozeman, the high school soccer season has come to an exciting end, with standout players being recognized for their exceptional performances throughout the year. The Eastern and Western AA conferences have released their lists of All-State and All-Conference players, showcasing the top talents from across the region.

For the Eastern AA Boys, the Player of the Year award went to Ezekiel Leighton, a junior forward from Bozeman Gallatin. He was joined by several All-State players including Brennan Ellis from Billings West and Kevin Kershaw from Billings Senior, demonstrating the impressive skill level displayed this season. Honorable mentions in the boys’ sector included athletes from various schools, highlighting the widespread talent.

On the girls’ side, Maya Bossenbrook, a senior forward from Bozeman, earned the title of Player of the Year. The All-State teams included talented players such as Karly Jordan and Lucy Al-Chokhachy, both from Bozeman. Recognizing talent across the board, players like Hadley Brown and Mia Edwards also made their mark, showcasing strong performances throughout the season.

In Missoula, the Western AA also awarded its top Player of the Year honors. Brady Reed, a senior forward from Missoula Hellgate, claimed the boys’ title while Liv Thorne-Thomsen, a senior midfielder, was honored for the girls. Both players have made significant contributions to their teams this season, with several All-State selections following behind them.

The championship games saw intense competition, with local rivals facing off for the top titles. In a thrilling finish, the Rams completed their perfect season, solidifying their status as one of the most successful soccer programs in the state.

As the dust settles on this season, both communities can take pride in the achievements of their athletes and look forward to what next season will bring.
