As the vibrant colors of fall roll into Vermont, high school sports are in full swing with many thrilling matches already taking place. In soccer, one of the standout matches was between Mount Mansfield and Champlain Valley, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Delilah Locher scored for MMU, while Reese Kingsbury found the net for CVU. Both teams showed strong defensive skills, with Toni Cardinal and Hannah Zabalinski combining for 11 saves for MMU, while Anya Johnson made one key save for CVU.
