Hey there, fellow Greenwood residents! If you’re looking to enjoy some exciting events while soaking up some lovely weather, you’re in for a treat! As we kick-off into April, here’s what you should know about the weather and fabulous happenings in the area.
First off, let’s chat about the weather. Expect a bit of cloudiness early in the day, but don’t tuck away those sunglasses just yet! Sunshine is expected to peek through later, so keep an eye out for those rays. Today, we’re looking at a near record high of a beautiful 84°F. Perfect temperature to enjoy some outdoor activities or just hang out with friends. With gentle winds blowing in from the south-southwest at about 10 to 15 mph, it’s going to feel even more refreshing.
As night falls, the temperatures will dip down to a cozy 65°F, perfect for a relaxing evening. The winds will shift a bit and calm down to a nice, gentle breeze from the south at around 5 to 10 mph. If you’re planning to go out later, definitely consider grabbing a light jacket if you’re cold-sensitive!

This Sunday, April 5, the Greenwood Community Theatre will present Disney’s “Moana JR.” It’s a 60-minute adaptation of the heartwarming 2016 animated film that promises to entertain audiences of all ages!
