High School Basketball Action: Close Games and Standout Performances

In Oconto Falls, the Foxes faced the Panthers in a nail-biter that ended with a score of 54-58. Graham Feidt led the Foxes with 21 points while Lucas Papendorf contributed 10 points. The Foxes established an early lead with an eight-point advantage at halftime. The Panthers tried to fight back with Evan Yuma scoring 19 points and J.J. Pytleski chipping in 10 points, but it just wasn’t enough to close the gap.

Meanwhile, in New London, the Mustangs played against the Bulldogs and managed to secure a 49-46 victory. Cooper Effa and Trevor Verhagen each scored 13 points, helping Little Chute rally in the second half despite being down at halftime. Joseph Daly was a standout for New London, leading his team with 15 points.

In Denmark, the Irish triumphed over the Vikings, with Drew Kortz and Kaden Vandenberg both scoring 23 points. Donovan Davis added another 16 points for Freedom, solidifying their lead throughout the contest.

Meanwhile, the Thunder from Seymour dominated the Truckers, finishing with a score of 81-55. Jordan Krause shined with 22 points, supported by Kyler Marks with 15 points and Isaac Feske contributing 12 points. Clintonville’s lead scorer was Sam Wegener, who finished strong with 23 points.

In a crucial matchup in Manitowoc, the Jets pulled ahead in the second half to beat the Lions 64-51. Donovan Cowley had a hot start, scoring 22 points including 18 in the first half, while Owen Krepline led Brillion’s effort with 20 points.

From the Central Wisconsin Conference, the Falcons of Amherst narrowly won their game against Manawa 46-39, led by Parker Soulsby’s 12 points. As the basketball season heats up, athletes will continue to chase victory on the court, creating an exciting environment for fans and supporters alike.
