Meanwhile, the City girls’ basketball team also took center stage, struggling against a tough opponent from North High School. Despite a strong effort, the girls were unable to clinch the victory, ultimately falling with a score of 55-45. Coach Harris expressed pride in the team’s effort and is optimistic about their next game.

In other sports, the City soccer team played their last home game of the season, where they celebrated their senior players. The game ended in a thrilling tie at 1-1, showing heart from both sides. The seniors were highlighted for their leadership and skill throughout the season, making it a memorable night for everyone involved.
