Last year, coach Damon Jenkins led his team to the finals for the first time, though they fell short against Mission Oak. Coach Jenkins, who won three national titles as a player, emphasizes the importance of the “little things” that have made Kerman a more cohesive unit. “They understand what I’m about. They understand that when I talk to them, it’s coming from a place of love,” he said.
