In local highlights, Adams managed a close win against Anchor Bay finishing 31-28. Meanwhile, Adrian dominated Kearsley with a strong performance ending the game at 52-18. Almont secured a convincing victory over Edison with a score of 41-22, while Armada displayed their strength against Corunna, winning 42-7.

Other notable scores featured Bear Lake absolutely crushing Ashley with a staggering 71-0 scoreline. DuWitt also put on an impressive show, easily defeating Everett 55-20. The game between Richmond and L’Anse Creuse North ended with Richmond clinching a solid 35-14 win.

The weekly spotlight also shone on Jack Bullock from Utica Eisenhower, recognized as the Prep Athlete of the Week for the period of October 13-19. Voting for nominees for the next week will open on Tuesday, encouraging fans to support their favorite athletes.
