High School Sports Roundup from Minnesota

This week in Minnesota, the high school sports scene was bustling with exciting matchups and impressive performances. Across several sports, teams showcased their skills and determination. Here’s a look at some of the standout games and scores.

In eastern Minnesota basketball action, Hmong Academy dominated Groves Academy with a score of 76 to 12, demonstrating a clear advantage throughout the game. Meanwhile, the Independent Metro Athletic conference featured close contests as Blake narrowly defeated Minnehaha Academy 78 to 66, while Breck secured a confident win over St. Paul Academy, ending with a score of 90 to 54.

In the MCAA competition, North Lakes battled hard against ISM/Chesterton, winning by just five points, with a final score of 69 to 64. The NORTHWEST SUBURBAN conference saw Blaine overpower Coon Rapids 85 to 63, showcasing Blaine’s strong offense.

Moving to the Metropolitan Area, there were numerous impressive wins. Anoka defeated Forest Lake with a score of 82 to 58. Buffalo also made headlines, winning convincingly against Cambridge-Isanti 90 to 63. Cretin-Derham Hall showcased an outstanding performance against Burnsville, winning 87 to 54. Further south, Lakeville South triumphed over Chanhassen with a score of 92 to 78.

Meanwhile, in the MINNESOTA basketball league, teams continued to impress. For instance, Bemidji took down Hibbing with a staggering score of 89 to 62. Littlefork-Big Falls left their mark as they overpowered Lake of the Woods 90 to 21.

As we move forward into the rest of the week, excitement continues to build around upcoming games. Athletes are eager to showcase their talents, and fans are ready to cheer them on.
