Houston High School Football Playoff Updates

This past Saturday, Houston high school football teams competed fiercely in the statewide playoff games. The excitement was palpable as teams fought for the chance to advance.

Starting in Region I, North Crowley took on Coppell and exited victorious with a score of 35-24. In another matchup, Denton Guyer dominated the game against Crowley, finishing with a staggering score of 44-7. Moreover, Denton Ryan managed a solid win over N. Richland Hills Richland, sealing their game with a score of 48-35.

The battles continued in Region II, where Cypress Bridgeland narrowly beat Waxahachie, with a score of 24-19. Duncanville showcased their strength by overpowering The Woodlands, finishing the game at 42-20. De Soto also had a compelling game against Willis, winning it with a score of 55-35. Longview followed suit, defeating Klein Collins with a score of 42-34.

In Region III, Randle emerged victorious against Brenham, scoring 28-14. Meanwhile, CC Flour Bluff edged out San Antonio Southwest in a close match, winning 35-28 in Region IV.

In the championship games, Bulverde Gloria Deo defeated Brazos Valley, with a final score of 51-36. Harvest Christian Academy from Lantana outscored Lubbock Home School, concluding their game with 70-49. Granbury Grace Classical had a tight battle against Stinnett West Texas, but managed to pull off the win at 54-52.

Additionally, in the semifinals, Argyle Liberty Christian **crushed** Houston St. Thomas, scoring a remarkable 63-0. Dallas Parish Episcopal, FW All Saints, and Houston Second Baptist all secured their places in the finals with decisive victories against their opponents, showcasing the high level of competition.
