Houston High School Football Playoffs Recap
Last night in Houston, the high school football playoffs brought a series of thrilling matchups across the state. Teams battled hard as they aimed to secure their spots in the next rounds of the playoffs.
In Region II, De Soto dominated Wylie East with a score of 51-17. Another standout performance came from Port Neches-Groves, who defeated Kaufman with a score of 42-21. Not to be outdone, Cibolo Steele delivered a significant win over PSJA, finishing at 63-12.
In Region IV, Austin Vandegrift shut out Sotomayor with a jaw-dropping score of 51-0 while SA Alamo Heights left an imprint with a decisive victory over Mercedes at 75-14.
Region III saw A&M Consolidated edge out Galveston Ball in a tight contest that ended 10-3. Meanwhile, Tyler Chapel Hill notched a solid win against Worthing, resulting in a score of 49-24.
In Region I, Canyon Randall battled against Andrews, winning in a close game that ended at 42-36. Stephenville also showed its strength by defeating Hereford with a score of 35-7.
