On Thursday, Highland Park secured a victory over Washington with a score of 38-28. Meanwhile, Olathe Northwest shut out Shawnee Mission West, dominating the game with a 45-0 win.
Friday night brought a series of thrilling games. Adrian overpowered Cole Camp with a score of 48-6. In a high-scoring affair, Archie defeated Liberal with a remarkable score of 75-20. Atchison also impressed with a commanding 56-6 win against Wyandotte.
Grain Valley showcased an outstanding performance, blanking Truman with a 53-0 shutout. Other notable performances included Macdenton defeating Southeast 70-0 and Kearney prevailing over Excelsior Springs 56-0.
Several games featured close scores. Olathe North narrowly edged out Shawnee Mission North with a final score of 47-46, while Liberty North claimed victory against Blue Springs 31-21.
The standout players this week included those from St. Thomas Aquinas, who defeated Blue Valley North 35-19, and Piper, which took down Topeka West 58-21.
