Exciting Week of High School Football in Southeast Texas

Friday night brought another thrilling round of high school football across Southeast Texas, showcasing the skill and determination of our local teams. Fans filled the stands, eager to support their players and witness some competitive games.

Orangefield put on a memorable performance, dominating Buna with a score of 52-22. This strong win highlighted their offensive power and determination as they continue to impress as the season progresses.

In a one-sided matchup, Woodville easily overpowered Kountze to the tune of 61-6, demonstrating their control from start to finish. The team looks poised for what lies ahead.

Meanwhile, Hardin managed to edge out Kirbyville in a closely contested game, finishing at 44-34. The win was crucial for their standings in the district as they fight for a strong finish this season.

West Sabine faced Sabine Pass and achieved a convincing victory of 54-7, further solidifying their reputation as a formidable opponent in the league.

In another exciting matchup, Barbers Hill claimed a 31-17 win over West Brook, showcasing their tenacity on the field. Additionally, Beaumont United kept their momentum going with a 21-9 victory against Baytown Sterling.

Hamshire-Fannett secured a historic district championship with their 28-14 win over West Orange-Stark, while Little Cypress-Mauriceville took home a hard-fought victory against Lumberton, ending with a score of 35-25.

Other noteworthy scores include Silsbee defeating Shepherd 49-20, Vidor crushing Livingston 61-14, and Huffman narrowly beating Bridge City 26-18.
