High School Sports Roundup from the Treasure Coast

In Treasure Coast, the week of November 11-16 saw a series of exciting soccer matches across various high schools. Here’s a recap of the action along with upcoming game schedules.

Girls Soccer Highlights

Pine Crest continues its strong performance this season, overwhelming Martin County with a convincing 8-0 victory. The standout player was Giovanna Waksman, who scored an impressive five goals. Following her were Hope Katz with two goals and Jaiden Anderson adding another to the tally. Coming up next, Pine Crest will face Fort Pierce Central on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

In another matchup, Okeechobee dominated Port St. Lucie, winning 7-1. Okeechobee will compete against John Carroll Catholic on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Meanwhile, South Fork fell to a strong South Fork side, suffering a 10-0 defeat.

Boys Soccer Action

The boys’ teams were also active, with Pine Crest narrowly edging out Vero Beach 1-0 thanks to a goal from Bodie Mass. Next, Pine will take on Port St. Lucie on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

In a thrilling match, Fort Pierce Central triumphed over Sebastian River by a score of 3-2. Fort Pierce Central has a challenging match scheduled against Palm Beach Gardens on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Martin County showcased its strength with a 7-1 victory over Lincoln Park Academy, featuring multiple goal scorers including Luciana Licht who scored twice. They will meet Seminole Ridge on Thursday at 7 p.m.
