This week, excitement filled the air across various high schools in the metro area as students showcased their talents in several sports. From soccer to volleyball, teams delivered impressive performances.
In the realm of boys soccer, St. Paul Humboldt defeated South Suburban with a strong score of 3-1. Meanwhile, in the NORTHWEST SUBURBAN league, Armstrong managed a commanding 5-0 victory over Spring Lake Park, and Champlin Park dominated Coon Rapids 6-1.
The girls weren’t to be outdone, as Eagan crushed Apple Valley with a score of 7-0. In another match, Mounds Park Academy secured a 3-0 win against Nova Classical. Additionally, Stillwater triumphed over Roseville with a score of 4-0.
Over in volleyball, the games were just as thrilling. In a closely contested battle, Blake overcame Minnehaha Academy in a five-set match, finishing 22-25, 14-25, 25-18, 26-24, 15-13. Farmington also edged out Burnsville with a narrow 25-19, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23 victory. Meanwhile, focus shifted to Eagan, where they swiftly defeated Apple Valley, 25-8, 25-20, 25-11.
