Grainger Begins Official Duties as Miss South Carolina USA

This position as Grand Marshal will be one of the first official duties Grainger will undertake in her year-long reign as Miss South Carolina. The young beauty queen, who hails from Hamer, South Carolina, has achieved a fine balance between her academic endeavours and an impressive career as a professional model and actress.

Wide Variety of Displays Expected

In addition to Grainger’s lead float, the parade will also showcase an array of floats and displays by local civic entities and organisations. Among the presenters are Clinton Mayor Randy Randall, Clinton Police and Fire Departments, the SC National Guard Armory, the Woodlawn Ramblers Motorcycle Club, the Clinton Masonic Lodge and Shriners Club, the Laurens County Cruisers Classic Cars, and the Whitten Center Parents’ Club.

Celebrating Community and Joy

“The Whitten Center Independence Day Parade carries great meaning for the residents at the center,” explained Craig Byrd, the DDSN Facility Administrator. “The effort and commitment made by the consumers, staff, and the people of Clinton truly make for an event that embodies community. It translates into pure joy for everyone when the parade winds around campus.”

Parade Offers Afternoon Entertainment for All

This highly anticipated event will start at 1:30 p.m. on July 3, 2024, on the DDSN Whitten Regional Center Campus at 28373 Highway 76 East in Clinton. Everyone in the community is eagerly encouraged to take part in the celebrations and enjoy the array of spectacles that the parade promises to offer.

A Day the Whole Community Can Be Proud Of
