This past Friday night, high school football fans in Southeast Texas were treated to another round of thrilling games. Several teams showcased their skills, with some standout performances on the field.

In Port Arthur, Port Arthur Memorial dominated West Brook with an impressive score of 42-14. The Memorial team displayed their strength, continuing to make a mark in the season.

Barbers Hill had a big win over Beaumont United with a staggering total of 69-24. This victory highlights Barbers Hill’s offensive capabilities and their determination as the season progresses.

In a close match, Nederland fought hard but fell short against Lake Creek, ending with a score of 43-45. Fans were on the edge of their seats as the teams battled for every yard.

The Port Neches-Groves team achieved a decisive victory, blanking West Fork with a score of 37-0. Their strong defense was a significant factor in this win.

Vidor showcased their talent by defeating Lumberton with a score of 34-7. This win puts Vidor in a strong position as the season continues.

In more results, Little Cypress-Mauriceville triumphed over Liberty with a score of 38-7. Meanwhile, Silsbee secured a significant win against Tarkington at 44-3.

Huffman-Hargrave had a high-scoring affair, defeating Hardin-Jefferson in a game that ended 70-41. In addition, Hamshire-Fannett beat Jasper 42-20.

Looking at other matchups, Bridge City took down Livingston with a score of 32-20, while West Orange-Stark dominated Shepherd at 62-16. Orangefield claimed victory against Kirbyville, finishing the game at 49-14.

East Chambers performed well, defeating Coldspring-Oakhurst 47-18, and Anahuac secured a shutout win against Buna, ending at 21-0.

Lastly, Newton took control in their game, beating Kountze 46-7, while Woodville won against Anderson-Shiro with a score of 48-27.

In other notable scores, Deweyville triumphed over Evadale, finishing at 35-3, and West Hardin defeated Sabine Pass with a score of 43-14.

It’s clear that the high school football season in Southeast Texas is heating up, with teams showing their skills as they aim for playoff spots.
