Exciting High School Football Showdowns Scheduled at AT&T Stadium

Arlington is gearing up for an action-packed day as high school football teams prepare to battle at AT&T Stadium this Saturday. The event will showcase a series of crucial playoff games, featuring some of the best teams from across the state.

The action kicks off at 11 a.m. with the Class 1A Division II match between Jayton (14-0) and Oakwood (9-5). Both teams are looking to cap off the season with a strong performance, especially the unbeaten Jayton, who has not lost all season.

Next up at 2 p.m., the Class 1A Division I game will see Whiteface (14-0) square off against Gordon (14-0). This matchup is particularly thrilling as both teams enter the contest with identical records, promising a closely contested game.

Later in the evening, the stakes will be high for the Class 2A Division II matchup at 7 p.m. as Muenster (13-2) goes against Shiner (12-3). Fans will be on the edge of their seats, hoping for an upset as Muenster looks to take down the higher-seeded Shiner team.

Other notable games include the Class 2A Division I game featuring Stamford (15-0) vs. Ganado (14-1) at 11 a.m. and the Class 3A Division II match of Gunter (13-2) facing Woodville (13-2) at 3 p.m.. The Class 3A Division I game later that day will see Columbus (14-1) challenge the unbeaten Malakoff (15-0) at 7 p.m.

As the day continues, expect thrilling contests in the higher divisions too. The Class 4A Division II showdown between Carthage (14-1) and Waco La Vega (12-3) kicks off at 11 a.m., followed by Celina (15-0) taking on Kilgore (13-1) at 3 p.m.

Finally, the excitement wraps up with the Class 5A and Class 6A games, featuring Randle vs. South Oak Cliff at 7 p.m. and Austin Westlake vs. North Crowley at 7 p.m., respectively.

This lineup promises to be a thrilling day of high school football, showcasing rising talents and fierce competition. Fans are eagerly looking forward to supporting their teams as they aim for glory this weekend.
